A project mechanism that provides an integrated workflow environment with Offline "staging" and Online "live" systems on the same server. All content is maintained in projects. The number of projects is unlimited. Changes to the contents can be reviewed, thoroughly tested and approved in the Offline "staging" project before the content is published. If changed content is to become "live", that is visible to the public, it is simply published to the Online view.

Content managers that are not allowed to publish content can assemble a list of resources they have modified and perform a release action. Then a responsible person will automatically be informed about the changes the content manager has done by email. The email offers a link that will open the publish dialog showing the assembled list of changes directly after logging in.

Actually we have a lot of stuff in joomla running under Mootools: user registration, forms validations, article submission, send mails and more...

Switch to Jquery 2.0 would let a lot of fresh young developers to see Joomla to a really good and flexible cms to work with. In fact Jquery superiority in terms of community, ease, market share and convenience is indisputable.

Also, Bootstrap and the best plugins out there are coded in Jquery, so there not going to need to overload sites with different frameworks, or no-conflict stuff.

Anyway I think that this may be under review. Since joomla developers declared that Mootools is "no longer the primary javascript library interface" and as an "obsolete" framework.

It might be convenient to create a simple Eclipse plugin for Joomla! in order for developers to quickly start writing their extensions, without much hassle. Plugin would hopefully provide at least the following functionality:
- Create a new Joomla! component/module/plugin/template (generating the correct folder structure for views/models/tables/etc)
- Package the extension into an installation zip file, including of semi-auto generation of the install xml file
- Code completion (this actually will work already, thanks to PHP Development Tools plugin) with inline help (this will also work out-of-the-box thanks to Javadoc comments)
Optional features:
- Download the latest stable/testing version of Joomla, extract it and open the browser to complete the installation

I usually work on more than 1 Joomla website at day, on each website, I often need to open several tabs of the admin interface.

e.g.

I need to have the menus open in one tab and the modules open on another, and maybe articles, I sometimes have 4-5 tabs of the same admin site opened.

All tabs currently read: SiteName - Administration, making it really difficult to identify which tab is the one you need to go next.

I really need the Extension Name in the beginning of the Tab Title rather than the site name. I can have 2 sites opened in 2 Windows, but handling 2 sites + 4 tabs each one is way more complex.

Implementing the change shouldn't be too difficult technically speaking..
