A Native Drop Down Menu based on jquery or mootools, no more suckerfish meno or another extensions to do it

is this not template dependant / template issue? if you are using bootstrap then you just need to implement the built-in classes - but there are lots of different templates & frameworks so you would still need to create template specific overides etc.?

This would be a great addition. Especially if it was similar to the Joomla 3 drop down menu in the backend.
ya,, Thats goodone. nice
that's absolutely a must and of first priority of all possible new developments

Having this option integrated eliminates having to install a 3rd party module for each site that needs drop-down. It doesn't have to have a ton of bells and whistles, but at least having it available in the core would be nice.
Having trouble finding a proper menu? You should try Maximenu, which is used on joomla.org itself. It relies on Mootools, which ships with Joomla! - Check it out: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems/drop-a-tab-menus/11578
Strictly speaking I would say that supplying a drop down menu should be the job of the template, not the cms. One could argue that a cms of 2011 should supply a library that makes it easy to create drop downs, sliders, tabs, accordions etc, but that's a separate idea/ticket. That would be something like Yootheme's widgetkit http://www.yootheme.com/demo/themes/joomla/2011/streamline/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=14&Itemid=60
Or like swMenuFree. Love this extension.
very good idea.
