As a CMS we need to provide two different levels of structures. Navigation and Content logic. The idea of the NBS is to provide a simple but easy structure that allows the admin to maintain his trees.

A Chris guy has already suggested a "Finish Featuring" date field in the article options.

But, what I would like to see also, are two editable date (calendar field) columns in the Featured Articles manager. "Start Featuring" and "Finish Featuring".

When you set an article to feature, you must be prompted to feature immediately or select a start date.
